This article contains tables which describe the properties of several different types of warping machines in detail. The machines covered are made by the following companies: Benninger AG; McCoy-Ellison, Inc.; Karl Mayer; Kawamoto System Corp.; Reed-Chatwood Inc.; Inventex; Sucker Muller Hacoba; Suzuki Warper Ltd; Tsudakoma Corp.; and west Point Machine and Foundry Co. The machines are compared using designated parameters including: types and counts of yarns processed; working widths; warping speed; time required for beam changing; special equipment; and creel types available.
