[직/편성물] PRODUCTION AND PROPERTIES OF MIXED MICRON WOOL/COTTON TROPICAL FABRICS 출판일 : 1992.08.20 저자 : Tandon S. K., Watt J. D. 서지사항 : Wool Research Organisation of New Zealand, Report : 27 p. (Mar. 1992) Series No. R195 (05632/92) 등록일 : 2016.11.02 I 조회수 : 331 작성자 : |
Wool and cotton blend tropical fabrics containing 36-micron New Zealand Wool, 22-micron Merino wool, and cotton were developed. The production and properties of seven different samples of this blend are reported. No problems were encountered during the large-scale manufacture of these blends. These lightweight fabrics are between 25 and 40 percent cotton and 30 to 48 percent New Zealand wool. The crease recovery is comparable with that of both mixed-micron pure wool tropical fabrics and the traditional wool/mohair tropical fabrics. Hygral expansion and relaxation shrinkage are small and, therefore, do not adversely affect garment appearance. Despite their weak performance in some tests for abrasion and pilling resistance, these fabrics generally pass IWS Woolblendmark standards. 9 refs.
