An overview of sectional warping addresses the definition of sectional warping, reasons for its use, its effectiveness, and key components of a sectional warping machine. A sectional warping machine manufactures a loom beam by generation ten sections of 400 ends each and combining them onto one loom beam. This method is most effective when the yarn on the beam has to be sized. A typical conventional warping machine comprises a creel, warping table, warping drum, auxiliary stand, pressing device, waxing device, and beaming unit. Key process parameters include a cone height of 250 millimeters, a cone length of 1,000 millimeters, and a 1:4 warping ratio. Modern sectional warping machines have computer controls that achieve an accuracy of 0.01 millimeter for these processes. Advantages include warping speeds of up to 1,000 meters per minute and beaming speeds of up to 400 meters per minute.
