The DSST-NC-HVG is Karl Mayer's second generation of draw-warping equipment. This machine eliminates the possibility of cold stretching by using a pair of heated draw rollers which are lifted from the yarn sheet at machine stop and swiveled back to their initial position when the equipment is restarted. The beaming machine and draw unit are co-ordinated and driven by their own DC-4Q drive. Computerized control is used for the synchronization of all beam dimensions.
