Karl Mayer's RS 2(3) MSUS-V raschel knitting machine features a magazine weft system for manufacturing monoaxially or biaxially reinforced composite fabrics for coated geotextiles. It offers low vibration operation with minimum ground emissions at high production speeds. Two servo motors drive the weft feeder, and the number of filling yarns can be varied easily up to 24 filling yarns through data input at the control unit to increase fabric design flexibility. The machine executes a maximum laying width adjustment of 2,286 millimeters. Machine gages of E6, E9, E12, E14, and E18 are available.
