The increased demand for a broader color palette for narrow fabrics requires more manufacturing flexibility. Narrow fabric dyeing and finishing plants use several different systems, including single-end, dual-end, and multi-end installations. Multi-end systems convey several parallel guided narrow fabrics through the dyeing machine and are suitable for large volume production. Single-end and dual-end systems are suitable for high speed production and offer such advantages as reduced water and energy consumption, as well as more efficient wash effects. The use of new technologies, such as ultrasonic dyeing and narrow fabric tension monitoring, is recommended.
