Picanol's OMNIplus TC air jet tire cord loom features the advantages of the OMNIplus 190 air jet loom and the Gunne 190 TC tire cord loom. It offers a maximum reed width of 190 centimeters, central forced lubrication system, maintenance-free bearings in the warp feed and fabric takeup units, and a Sumo main drive. The controllable torque of the Sumo motor reduces energy consumption by 15-20 percent. Electrical shafts connect the main drive to the takeup traction roll and warp feed motion. A profiled cam motion provides shedding. Three sets of independently controlled nozzles in the weft insertion system can be set according to flow volume and blow duration.
