Today, the camelidbreeding and shearing industry is growing quickly. Dr. Gwyn Moseley of the Agriculture and Food Rsearch Council has studied the feasibility of camelid farming for four years. Johnstones of Elgin, Scottish woolen spinners, have already spun yarn from British guanaco and are producing sample fabrics.
